A serious car accident leaves a woman in critical condition and a man arrested for driving under the influence in Blaenau Gwent
Blaenau Gwent: A woman is in critical condition after a terrible car crash. It happened on the A465 when a man, who was allegedly under the influence, crashed into her vehicle.
The woman, just 29 years old, is still in the hospital with serious injuries. It’s really sad to hear about her situation.
The man, 34, from Swansea, didn’t just crash; he’s been arrested for several things. These include causing injury by dangerous driving and being unfit to drive due to alcohol and drugs.
He also assaulted an emergency worker, which is just awful. After the crash, he was taken to the hospital too but is now in police custody.
Gwent Police reported that they got a call about the accident around 12:40 AM on December 29. They quickly sent officers and emergency services to the scene.
Two cars were involved: a black Audi and a silver Vauxhall. The woman was driving the Vauxhall, and sadly, she’s the one who’s critically hurt.
The driver of the Audi was treated at the hospital before being taken into custody. It’s a tough situation for everyone involved.
