A woman was assaulted in Canterbury, Kent, as police investigate the incident and a related disturbance
Kent: So, there was this pretty alarming incident in Canterbury. A woman was approached by a guy on Military Road early Sunday morning. He demanded her purse, which is just awful.
She ended up getting hurt in the face during the encounter. Thankfully, she managed to escape in a car with someone else. The suspect was described as a young white guy, probably in his early 20s, slim, with dark hair and a hoody. He was also carrying a small Nike bag.
At the same time, there was another report of a disturbance nearby. A man was threatening two others outside a place on Starle Close. Luckily, those guys got inside a house, and the guy who was causing trouble took off on foot.
