Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott have reportedly ended their five-year relationship, following time apart during the holidays and work commitments.
London: So, it looks like Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott have called it quits after five years. They spent Christmas and New Year apart, which is never a good sign. Sam was out partying in Kensington, while Zara stayed home with their two cats, Albus and Cedric.
Last week, Sam was busy giving out presents and volunteering on Christmas Day. Meanwhile, Zara was in Upminster, Essex, with her family. They’ve been apart a lot lately, too, since Sam was in Australia for a spin-off of I’m A Celebrity, and Zara couldn’t join him because of her BBC documentary filming.
A source told MailOnline that it was a tough decision for them to break up, but they still care for each other. It’s sad to hear, right? They’ve had some ups and downs, and there were even rumors of a split earlier this summer after a big argument. Zara had left their London home for a bit to stay with her family.
Sam did share some positive vibes on social media, though, saying he’s excited for the new year. He’s all about making 2025 amazing. But it’s clear that things have changed between him and Zara. It’s a bummer when relationships don’t work out, especially after so long.
