This all went down on a Sunday afternoon, January 19. Apparently, another woman attacked her, which is just awful.
Interestingly, this happened right after some rumors about a kidnap attempt at the same pub. But the police have said there’s no evidence for that, so they’re not investigating it.
According to the police, they got a call about the assault on Lemon Quay. They confirmed that the victim has disabilities and is recovering from a stroke, which makes this even more heartbreaking.
They also mentioned that they checked out a suspicious incident involving a woman and a child at the pub but found no wrongdoing there. Just a lot going on, huh?
